Azurite psm tetrahedrite - Mine à Giraud (La Gardette), Isère,...
Exceptional specimen composed of a grouping of well shaped...
Superb piece composed of a main crystal of tetrahedrite measuring 1.7 cm of edge. The azurite is present in fine veneer on the brown/orange faces of the crystal (pseudomorphosed into limonite?), while it constitutes perimorphs on the back of the piece. Some quartz crystals are present, but what makes this piece aesthetic and unique is this "scarf" of velvet malachite around the tetrahedron.
