Azurite psm tetraedrite - Mine à Giraud (La Gardette), Isère,...
A quite big tetrahedrite crystal perimorphosed by azurite...
Exceptional specimen composed of a grouping of well shaped tetrahedrite crystals pseudomorphosed into malachite and azurite, the latter, of a superb royal blue, presenting a nice spherical microcrystallization glittering on the surface. The main crystal of tetrahedrite measures 2.4 cm in edge. This piece comes from the Giraud mine, close to the famous La Gardette mine, known worldwide for its gold and especially the quality of its quartz. The combination of tetrahedrite and azurite is very unusual and therefore extremely rare on the market.
