Firefly quartz with petroleum inclusions - Madirobe, Madagascar

Beautifully bright sceptrous quartz with hydrocarbon inclusions, particularly petroleum, highly fluorescent to Uvs (short and long).
Discovered in 2023, these Malagasy quartz have the advantage of being highly diversified in shape and size, compared with oil-inclusion quartz from Pakistan, for example. Groups such as this one are less common, however, with isolated crystals represented in greater numbers.
The edges are somewhat blunt, and 100% flawless pieces are unfortunately rare.
