Smoky quartz and arfvedsonite - Malosa mount, Zomba, Malawi

A collection of brilliant smoky quartz, some of which crystallized in the same direction, corresponding in fact to epitaxial growth with feldspars that were subsequently dissolved (remnants are still present). A few fine arfvedsnonite needles are present between the quartz.
