Fluorite - Annabel Lee mine, Cave-in-Rock, Illinois, USA

Floating plate of bright, dark purple fluorite with step-like crystallization. Numerous small chalcopyrite crystals are scattered over and embedded in the fluorite. Sphalerite is also present in small groups of amber crystals, intact. This piece is in excellent condition, released in 1985. An old label accompanies it.
