Cristallized gold on quartz - Aouint Ighoumane, Guelmim-Oued Noun region, Morocco

Native gold crystallized in flattened octahedrons and showing the spinel mica, on quartz.

The main "feather" is 1.9 cm long; the second is 1 cm.

Some white quartz relics are present between the crystals. Another small gold crystal is present in the small lateral cavity.

Specimen resulting from the recent discovery in Morocco (revelation of the first specimens at the end of 2020).
