Fluorite - Rancennes, Ardennes, France

Violet fluorite in "Aztec pyramid" from Rancennes, in the Ardennes. In backlighting, we can see that the edges are dark purple (even blue), and the core is purple to slightly green. This area was classified as a regional nature park in 1999. This piece comes from an old discovery that remained for many years with a local prospector and collector.
