Fluorite - Rancennes, Ardennes, France

Purple fluorite float in "Aztec pyramid" from Rancennes, in the Ardennes. The edges are unfortunately rubbed, but a backlighting at the edge reveals different shades of color not to be envied by some German fluorites: violet of course, but also green, yellow, and dark blue in the outer border. This sector was classified as a regional natural park in 1999. This piece comes from an old discovery that remained for many years with a local prospector and collector.
