Fluorite and quartz on stibnite – Jiangxi Province, China

An elegant, elongated stibnite crystal, finely striated with a highly lustrous silvery-grey metallic sheen. On the reverse, the stibnite is partially covered with small quartz crystals and millimetre-sized fluorite.

Highlights of this specimen:

- The stibnite is of very fine quality: well-formed and brilliant
- Although the crystals are millimetre-sized, the fluorite and quartz are also of very fine quality. (Unfortunately, this is somewhat difficult to show in the photographs).

This recent find was exhibited in Munich in 2025. Very few specimens were available, but we were able to select a few of the most aesthetically pleasing ones.
