Polished slice of polyhedral agate, which can be enjoyed as is for a collection or mounted as a pendant. Polyhedral agates were discovered in the 1970s in the state of Paraíba in Brazil. They were formed by the complete or partial filling of polyhedral cavities, interpreted as being the space between ancient crystals that have not been identified but are often assumed to be calcite (see Le Règne Minéral n°163).
