Small group of dioptase from Congo. A beautiful classic! 1.1 cm edge zunyite crystal on matrix. Specimens on matrix are rarer than isolated crystals because they generally do not hold in place on the matrix. These Iranian zunyites were discovered in 2018 and are notable for being several millimeters, or even centimeters, in size, which is large for this species.
