Torbernite exhibiting beautiful fan-shaped crystallization in the bright green color characteristic of the species. The well-formed crystals create an aesthetically pleasing arrangement.

Highlights of this specimen:

For your information:

- Average radiation level measured with a dosimeter at close range: approximately 1 µSv/h
- Radioactivity remains low in this type of specimen, but it is recommended to store it in a closed box and in a room other than a living area. Also avoid excessive handling.
- The Margabal mine, located near Entraygues-sur-Truyère in the Aveyron department, is a former uranium mine that operated only from 1957 to 1960. Despite its small size, this deposit has become a key locality for torbernite and metatorbernite, yielding remarkable crystals.
