Fluorite - Le Piboul, Lozère, France
A cluster of fluorite crystals with a very pronounced yellow-orange color, scattered across their matrix. The crystals, which are well-defined and locally very transparent, have a beautiful luster.
The matrix is traversed by an old fissure that has naturally healed through the recrystallization of purple fluorite, visible on the back of the specimen.
