Marcasite pseudomorph of limonite - Farafa Oasis, White Desert, Egypt
A floating composition reminiscent of a flower, consisting of marcasite crystals entirely pseudomorphosed into limonite, with a black-brown color and a velvety appearance. The pseudomorphosis has faithfully preserved the bipyramidal shapes of the marcasite.
