Smoky tabular quartz - Minas Gerais, Brazil

Floating single crystal of tabular quartz with smoky edges in the manner of some Brazilian “jacaré” quartz. The surfaces are shiny. Its condition is not perfect, but this type of quartz is not common. This piece was part of a collection that included both exceptional classics and remarkable curiosities.
