Rectangular Chinese landscape stone in the style of Italian paesine. These are very fine-grained slabs of limestone, sawn and polished, with colors governed by iron oxide content (the reddest being the rarest), and patterns naturally formed by manganese dendrites. Also known as "Guohua stone", "picture stone" or "painting stone".
