Barite in rather brilliant colorless tabular crystals covered in large part with iron oxides and a thin film of goethite, giving it a particularly aesthetic dimension. This piece was published in an article about the old underground quarry of Peyreblanque in the Tarn where it comes from, in Le Règne Minéral magazine n°140 (page 7).
