Azurite, malachite, erytrhite and quartz - Tazalaght mine, Souss-Massa region, Morocco
Azurite in nice size crystals (up to 2,3 cm long), brilliant, accompanied by malachite, and erythrine in fine veneer on the underlying quartz as well as partially on the azurite. The piece has some imperfections, but the color contrast is remarkable! This original piece comes from the Tazalaght mining area, one of the oldest copper mines in Morocco.
