Fluorite and quartz - Le Burc, Alban, Tarn, France
Double-sided crystallized piece. The surfaces are frosted in...
Sky-blue fluorite on colorless, shiny quartz, all on a very dense quartz matrix (the back of the piece is sawn off). The surfaces of the fluorite have the particularity to present dissolution figures, typical of this small locality of the Tarn. Relatively recent discovery (autumn 2021) of a small pocket having provided some pieces of very good quality of which this one is part.
