Association of shiny black tourmaline and white quartz overlying large orthoclase crystals. Quartz crystallized in preferential directions that may remind one of Japanese macles (= La Gardette's macle), but which in fact correspond to an epitaxial growth with feldspars. Uncommon piece, intact, and offering a nice contrast.
