Corundum - Plouguerneau, Finistère, France

Incomplete bluish crystal of corundum, from the vicinity of Plouguerneau in Finistère. Strong reaction to long UVS. Note the presence of a white crown (probably plagioclase) around the corundum, typical reaction of metamorphism.
