Fluorite antozonite, calcite - Ojuela mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
A beautiful deep purple antozonite fluorite in excellent condition, from the recent (early 2021) discovery of a small single pocket on level 4 of the large Ojuela mine in Mexico.
The surface is rather bright and shows natural dissolution figures while some edges are rounded. The presence of white crystallized calcite gives a nice contrast to the piece.
Fluorite is rare for this mine, especially the "good" size pieces well crystallized!
