Fluorite anzononite - Ojuela mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
Fluorite is rare for this large Mexican mine, especially in well-crystallized form! Here, the surface of the crystals of a beautiful deep violet, shiny, as well as the edges, show natural dissolution figures. This piece has been stabilized in order to consolidate the fluorite on the gangue which had a natural tendency to crumble (so be careful not to put it in water!).
