Fluorite antozonite, calcite - Ojuela mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
Fluorite is rare in this large Mexican mine, especially the "good" size pieces, well crystallized! Here, the deep purple cubes are in very good condition (most of the apparent damage corresponds to naturally broken/recrystallized parts), and the surfaces are rather shiny. The fluorite, on a limonite gangue, has been freed from a white calcite encrustation of which some remains give a nice contrast to the piece.
