Zunyite on matrix - Qalat-e-Balat, Persia

Rare zunyite crystal of brick red color, with truncated edges and shiny surface. The visible surface is scattered with shiny microcrystals of hematite, which also compose the matrix. Respectable and rare size for the species (1 cm of edge). Specimens on matrix are even rarer than the isolated crystals.
