Specimen composed of numerous well-defined calcite crystals, colorless to translucent, with hexagonal shapes. The crystals are well-developed and distributed over a limonite matrix, which is itself covered in places by an unidentified silvery mineral.

- The Ojuela mine, located in Mapimí in the state of Durango, is one of Mexico’s major classic mineralogical localities. This vast polymetallic deposit is known for the great diversity of its mineralizations.
