A cluster of brilliant tourmaline crystals associated with white clevelandite. The crystals are dark in color with a green tip characteristic of the “green cap” facies, which is particularly visible when backlit.

The contrast between the tourmaline and the white cleavelandite beautifully highlights the crystallization, while the prismatic faces display fine longitudinal striations.

For your information:

- Stak Nala, in the Haramosh Mountains of northern Pakistan, is a major district of granitic pegmatites with miarolitic cavities. The locality is particularly well known for its tourmalines, but the pegmatites have also yielded cleavelandite, quartz, beryl, aquamarine, fluorapatite, topaz, muscovite, lepidolite, and several other minerals.
