Garnet – DUO natural crystal and cut gemstone

A duo of garnets combining a natural crystal and a small faceted gemstone, allowing two very different expressions of garnet to be appreciated side by side.

The natural crystal measures 7 mm and displays a deep red colour with a well-defined crystal form. Alongside it, a 4 mm garnet from Mozambique has been cut in a round brilliant style, offering a different view of the mineral through its facets and play of light.

This duo provides an interesting comparison between the natural appearance of a garnet crystal and that of a gemstone, where the cut is designed to enhance the stone’s optical qualities.
