Pyromorphite on Barite – Les Farges, Ussel, Corrèze, France
Specimen of pyromorphite featuring a very abundant crystallization of small prismatic crystals, ranging in colour from yellow-orange to orange. The crystals extensively cover the matrix and form numerous dense groups, with some areas where they are more clearly individualized and show their crystal faces distinctly.
Pyromorphite is particularly abundant on the main face, but the crystallization is also present on the other sides of the specimen. On the reverse, colourless and lustrous barite is clearly visible, with well-formed crystals providing a nice contrast with the orange tones of the pyromorphite.

Highlights of this specimen:
- Very abundant yellowish-orange pyromorphite crystallization
