RED SPINEL – DUO natural crystal and cut gemstone

This red spinel duo allows you to discover two different expressions of this mineral: a small natural crystal and a round brilliant-cut gemstone.

The natural crystal measures approximately 0.6 mm and displays a natural crystallization. Its provenance is unknown.

Alongside it is a 0.4 mm red spinel from Burma (Myanmar), cut in a round brilliant style. Its facets allow the colour and optical qualities of this gemstone to be appreciated.

Together, these two specimens provide a direct comparison of spinel in its natural crystallized form and faceted form.
