TANZANITE – DUO: natural crystal and cut gemstone

A pair of natural tanzanites from Tanzania, bringing together two very different expressions of this gem-quality variety of zoisite: a naturally formed crystal and a small cut gemstone.

The natural crystal, measuring approximately 8 mm, displays a beautiful purplish-blue color and interesting transparency. Its crystalline structure is clearly visible, with characteristic growth striations and several mineral inclusions that attest to its natural formation.

Beside it, a small 3-mm tanzanite, cut in a trillion shape, offers a completely different expression of the same gemstone. Its facets particularly highlight its transparency, its purplish-blue color, and its play of light.

Together, these pieces allow you to appreciate tanzanite in two complementary forms: the natural crystal, with its morphology and growth characteristics, and the cut gem, whose facets reveal its optical qualities.
