An aerial specimen consisting of a multitude of prase quartz crystals stacked and interlocked in a particularly aesthetic manner. The crystals, with a pleasant olive-green hue, exhibit a beautiful luster, and some are double-terminated.

The green coloration of Huanggang prase quartz is characteristic of this locality and is generally attributed to amphibole inclusions, particularly actinolite and/or hedenbergite.
