A tabular wulfenite crystal with a superb, deep orange-yellow color; it is highly translucent and lustrous. The fine growth striations visible along the crystal’s edges highlight the quality of its crystallization.
The crystal rests on a limonite matrix adorned with delicate rosettes of white hydrozincite (which reacts to short-wavelength UV light).
