Foitite on Orthoclase - Erongo Mountains, Namibia
An orthoclase crystal extensively covered with abundant foitite crystallization, forming a multitude of small, steel-gray to bluish-gray acicular crystals. The uniform distribution of the foitite perfectly highlights the morphology of the orthoclase crystal.
