A quartz point with beautiful transparency and a pleasant, uniform smoky hue. The crystal is well-formed and naturally lustrous.
The specimen is accompanied by a gemstone cut from Alpine quartz of a similar color, illustrating the gem-quality of these Alpine smoky quartzes.
The crystallized smoky quartz comes from the Aiguille de l’Éboulement in the Mont Blanc Massif and measures 2.8 x 1.6 x 1.3 cm.
The pear-shaped smoky quartz comes from the Mont Blanc massif and measures 0.7 x 0.7 cm.
