Fluorite and galena – Milpo Mine, Atococha, La Libertad, Peru

An aerial specimen comprising green fluorite crystals in the form of truncated octahedrons, which are translucent and particularly luminous. Their deep green colour contrasts elegantly with the metallic grey galena, which has a vivid lustre and is distributed harmoniously throughout the specimen.
A few pyrite crystals are present at the back of the specimen
