      For your information:

Adularia is a variety of potassium feldspar belonging to the orthoclase group. It is particularly characteristic of alpine fissure environments, where it can form well-separated crystals, sometimes associated with quartz, albite, epidote, anatase, or various fibrous minerals.

Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans is one of the most renowned localities in French mineralogy. Discoveries there remain relatively rare today and require extensive prospecting in the mountains. Specimens from this locality are prized by collectors for their aesthetic appeal and the prestige of their provenance.
