Foitite and Quartz on Orthose - Erongo Mountains, Namibia
Orthose extensively covered with abundant foitite crystallization, forming a multitude of small, steel-gray to bluish-gray acicular crystals. Several well-developed and perfectly preserved quartz crystals are also present.
